IMPACT AT SCALE

ABOUT THE PROJECT

PILOTING A LANDSCAPE APPROACH FOR MEASURING OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The ‘Impact at Scale’ project aims to reverse rangeland degradation and biodiversity loss through an integrated, landscape approach, securing both environmental, economic and social benefits for the Eastern Steppe region of Mongolia. It will operationalise ISEAL’s guiding principles for effective company actions in landscapes and jurisdictions, using the Bayan-Ovoo district of Khentii Province as a case study. Forming a side project to the ongoing Eastern Steppe Drylands project and utilising the innovative LandScale Assessment Framework, we aim to improve the engagement and participation of local stakeholders in the setting of biodiversity conservation targets and defining appropriate biodiversity indicators at the district level.
