Standards Manager
Beatrice joined the SFA in September 2025, bringing deep international experience in standards development across Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia and the UK. With a PhD in Marine Sciences, she has worked across government, academia and industry – from developing and implementing food safety and sustainability standards to leading research that informed national legislation. Beatrice believes that the health of people and the planet are inseparable, and that good standards systems can bridge that connection. She has worked with indigenous and rural communities to strengthen equity and resilience in the face of climate change and is passionate about integrating evidence and real-world impact into sustainability standards that deliver practical, lasting outcomes.
