Mr. Ayongxi is the Vice President of the International Cooperation Committee of Animal Welfare (ICCAW) of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation (CAPIAC). He was also an ISO animal welfare working group liaison representative, and attended the animal welfare technical standard draft review conference held in Paris. Mr. Ayongxi participated in the development of the first series of animal welfare standards in China: Farm Animal Welfare Requirements for Pig, Cattle, Sheep, Cashmere Goat, Broiler, Laying Hen. He was the Chinese deputy coordinator of EU-China cooperative project on animal welfare and antimicrobial reduction: HealthyLivestock. He has been a member of SFA’s Standard Setting Improvement Committee (SSIC) for two years. SFA is an important partner of ICCAW, and collaborate in the sustainable & welfare-friendly cashmere project in China.
